The Weatherproof Surface Mount IP66 Rated Enclosure is designed to deliver maximum protection and performance in demanding outdoor and industrial environments. Ideal for housing duplex outlets, sockets, and switches, it ensures safety and durability under all weather conditions.
Built from impact-resistant, UV-stabilized polycarbonate (PC), this rugged enclosure can withstand temperatures from -5°C to +40°C, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The sealed weatherproof cover (74792X45) maintains an IP66 protection rating even when in use, providing superior resistance to dust, water, and impact. The cover can be securely closed and locked over angled plugs (depending on plug type) for added safety.
This enclosure is compatible with a variety of British, European, UK, and International sockets and switches (86mm x 146mm size, 120mm mounting centers). It also accepts modular outlets and switches, requiring the #730094X45 or #730093X45 mounting frame/wall plate.
Equipped with multiple M20 knockout cable entries (expandable to M25) on the top, bottom, and sides, plus one M20 rear cutout, the design ensures flexible wiring options.
Certified to CE and compliant with EN 60670 standards, this enclosure offers reliable protection for electrical components in outdoor, industrial, and commercial applications.
