Type M plug consists of 2 large round shaped pins with measurements of approximately 7.06 mm × 8.71 mm, and 25.4 mm apart added by a substantially enlarged rounded ground pin located 28.5 mm from live and neutral prongs. This plug type it’s technically named BS 546 and it’s power ratings are 15A at 250 Volts
Type M wall outlets are exclusively designed to fit Type M plugs and can not receive any other plug type
Mostly found in countries such as Hong Kong, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland, Type M plugs are also utilized for major appliances in other countries.
